Should we do knockout tournaments for 1vs1 game types?

I remember how Candystand.com once had knockout tournaments with the brackets. I was wondering whether we could do the same with OMGPop.com games here, like Checkers or Pool. Place the players with similar abilities to play each other, and then play knockout matches to determine the winner of the tourney. Good idea?

im sure we can contact a guy called swiftor. he is a member of the crew. we could get him to atleast consider the idea and share them with his other crew mmbers. see what they think of it

Except I'm bad at both of those games. xP

I forgot to add a few things. First, we could make people pay an entrance fee worth a certain amount of coins. Then we could offer "cash" prizes if the player wins the tournament.

For games like Letterblox and Draw My Thing, we could have participants divided into different groups and get them to play a couple of games within their group. The winner from each group could gather together for the final round and determine the winner of the tourney.

Could that be added to the tourney idea? Thanks.

hmmm... sounds good, but not many people would be interested. If they get some big reward, that could attract people.
